Smino’s “Rice & Gravy” single is a tribute to his roots

Smino is back with his latest track called “rice & gravy,” which is the first song released by the duo from zero fatigue, called smino and monte booker, and came after the release of “backstage pass” (featuring the drums), which can be traced back to august 18th, 2020. The track “rice & gravy” is all about the roots of smino, as he candidly raps about his family, as well as his early life, in this cut produced by monte booker

This year, we were also blessed to hear several other verses by Smino, as he partnered up with Saba during Black History Month,  adding to the Judas and the Black Messiah cut with “Plead The .45.” Smi appeared on the joint project of Kenny Beats and Denzel Curry, as well, titled UNLOCKED 1.5.

The last project of Smino was the She Already Decided mixtape, which he released last April. After that, healso dropped a few tracks like “Tempo,” “Backstage Pass” “Baguetti”, and the “Dragonball Durag” with Thundercat and Guapdad 4000. Way back in 2018, he liberated NOIR project, featuring fan favorites, such as “KLINK” and “Z4L”.
