Next May, Craig David will release his eighth studio album, 22. Craig David announced the news via social media last week. Additionally, he will conduct an arena tour to promote the release a month before it arrives.
As part of that announcement, David revealed his new single, βWho You Are,β a collaboration with MNEK produced by Digital Farm Animals, in which the two artists sing about our ability to express our true selves:
The release of 22 follows David’s 2018 album The Time Is Now. The original edition of The Time Is Now featured 12 tracks and contributions from Bastille, JP Cooper, and AJ Tracey and GoldLink. A deluxe version was later released with Ella Mai and Chase & Status providing additional contributions. The soundtrack to the film reached number two on the UK Official Albums chart, just ahead of the soundtrack to the greatest showman. The same year, MNEK’s officially debut EP Language was released, a critically acclaimed effort that included a guest appearance by Hailee Steinfeld.
