Ilhan Omar, who is Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District Representative, stated that as opposed to many other members of Congress, she is not keen on obtaining the COVID-19 vaccine. On December 20, Omar took to Twitter to state that the vaccination must first be administered on frontline workers and teachers.

We are not more important then frontline workers, teachers etc. who are making sacrifices everyday.
