In his latest single, Ye Ali tries to “keep in touch”

The year 2021 has already seen Ye Ali release a number of singles for fans to enjoy. His first release came in April, followed by the release of “Info” and “No Attachments” a month later, and then “Dangerous” in July. A new song from Ye Ali titled “Keep In Touch” was released this week. On the track, he features Troy Taylor and Buddafly Wolf over the beat:

A few months ago, Ye Ali published the third part of his Private Suite 3 series. This project featured 16 tracks and featured Lyfe Harris, DCMBR, JAHKOY, among other performers. He has also earned production credits for some of Jack Harlow’s works, including That’s What They All Say on Chris Brown’s “Already Best Friends” and Monty and Fetty Wap “Way Past 12” for You Know The Vibes.” He also received a platinum award for his contributions to the film Stranger Things by Joyner Lucas and Chris Brown, marking his first ever placement in this category.

Power 106’s L.A Leakers studio has been bringing all the heat when people stop by to perform freestyles as per usual. Within the last few months, hot names have appeared such as J. Cole, Big Sean and Vince Staples, with Latto being the latest to gain traction through their wordplay. The Clayco artist breaks the fourth wall during her freestyle:

Her sophomore album is reportedly being edited as she puts the finishing touches on it. The year has already been filled with great solo singles from Big Latto, including the latest “Big Energy” and “Stank” record may well be the most infectious one yet. Additionally, Latto can be heard with Lil Durk and Don Toliver on the official soundtrack to F9 The Fast Saga, and she has collaborated with Future, and Chris Brown on the remix of Breezy’s summer jam, “Go Crazy.”

She released her debut Queen of da Souf album last year. It features 13 tracks in total, with features from Saweetie,Gucci Mane, 21 Savage, City Girls, Trina among others. Lil Baby is the only addition to the original project. Its success was primarily attributed to the singles “B*tch From Da Souf” alongside Trina and Saweetie, “Muwop” with Gucci Mane. After that, she started contributing to dope collabs like Jacquees’ “Freaky As Me.”

MNEK and Craig David collaborate on “Who You Are”

Next May, Craig David will release his eighth studio album, 22. Craig David announced the news via social media last week. Additionally, he will conduct an arena tour to promote the release a month before it arrives.

As part of that announcement, David revealed his new single, “Who You Are,” a collaboration with MNEK produced by Digital Farm Animals, in which the two artists sing about our ability to express our true selves:

The release of 22 follows David’s 2018 album The Time Is Now. The original edition of The Time Is Now featured 12 tracks and contributions from Bastille, JP Cooper, and AJ Tracey and GoldLink. A deluxe version was later released with Ella Mai and Chase & Status providing additional contributions. The soundtrack to the film reached number two on the UK Official Albums chart, just ahead of the soundtrack to the greatest showman. The same year, MNEK’s officially debut EP Language was released, a critically acclaimed effort that included a guest appearance by Hailee Steinfeld.
